Yes because jaime would totally rape cersei
the jaime that felt sick at the sound of hearing rhaella targaryen raped
the jaime that also felt sick after he heard of ellia and her babies being brutally murdered
THE JAIME THAT GOT HIS HAND CUT OFF SAVING HIS FRIEND FROM BEING RAPED
THE JAIME THAT SAID HE WOULD RATHER DIE IF HE WAS A WOMAN THAN LET SOMEONE RAPE HIM
4/10 Tyrions in a barrel
Stupid, cheap ploys overshadowed what would have been a solid though filler episode. Use of violence against women, completely fabricated and unsupported by the source material, is one of the most unfortunate failings of Game of Thrones and a clear means by which the series intends to stake its claim as a “dark” fantasy epic. As a viewer, I feel insulted on multiple levels (as a fan and as a woman) to watch a seemingly unparalleled fantasy series stoop to such low plot devices when there is literally no reason to do so. Shame, I say, shame. 4 Tyrions for the overall episode, though it deserves less.
With that being said, Glen Coco, Winners/Losers, Ships and more under the cut!
My stomach is already turning from what I’m seeing in response to this episode, specifically the sept scene. I just…I fear for women in our society sometimes. I really do.
There’s something seriously wrong when a tv network believes that it’s audience would rather see Jaime Lannister rape Cersei instead of enjoying consensual sex with the woman he loves. HBO’s insistence on adding extra violence towards women in the series is truly disgusting.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT I WAS SITTING ON MY ASS AT HOME CATCHING UP ON TV AND RICHARD ARMITAGE WAS IN THE SAME GODDAMN CITY AT WONDERCON BEING HANDSOME AND AMAZING AND NO I DIDN’T GO OF COURSE NOT
It’s Holy Week leading up to Easter which means that now my watch begins:
- Jesus Christ Superstar
- Prince of Egypt
- conspiracy documentaries about Christianity, especially about Jesus and the Holy Grail with reenactments
if you ever feel like a failure, just remember that jack crawford and the fbi arrested a vegan as the main suspect on a cannibal case
