I’m sorry, but the way they shot the Dany bath scene was gross. I can’t do gifs to show exactly, but the camerawork was so deliberate.
People on Twitter keep saying that this episode marked the high point of Dany’s story and ‘it’s all downhill from here’ but I disagree. I found the part of the book where she frees all of the slaves and they call her “mother” as she rides her horse through a crowd of them to be one of the best parts of her character arc. I think it was so well-written in the books and it was an important emotional moment for her character.
